Entering into the MTC October 28th!

For all those who don't know me, my name is Monica Johnson and I'm going to be keeping a mission blog for our beloved Paige Conley as she leaves on her mission to Concepcion, Chile. Paige is in her FINAL COUNTDOWN before she leaves. If everyone could write a comment under this post and leave Paige some words of encouragement before she leaves, she would LOVE that.
Thanks!
Monica Johnson

  3. TEMPLE ANNOUNCEMENT
Chilean Saints couldn't hold back their tears, cheers, and embraces of joy and gratitude at the announcement of the ConcepciĆ³n Chile Temple given by President Thomas S. Monson during the Saturday morning session of General Conference, on October 3, 2009. This temple will be Chile's second. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints News Release, "Five New Temples Announced," 3 Oct. 2009.

What an exciting time to be there. They say,"If you build it,they will come". I am so proud of you. You have so much in your heart to give. You've had it since an early age. You will share so much, with so many. Share what you know to be true. Always.

  5. First off ... SISTER MISSIONARIES ROCK!! Before I left on my mission, a very wise person told me that I should focus on two things - Love the people with all my heart and work hard - everything else would take care of itself.

  6. Paige,

It's been a little bit since the last time we caught up with each other. But I am so excited you decided to go on a mission. Looks like all of the 'hard decisions' you had a year ago fell into place, and have been made! You are so lucky to get to go serve. That has always been something I want to do, but guess it'll have to wait until future kids are out of the house!
Paige, you are so strong in the gospel, and have been an inspiration without knowing it. Everything you're involved in is always with two feet in, and I admire that. You'll truly grow more than you ever know this next year and a half. Just keep your eye on the Lord, and he'll keep his on on you.
Good luck, and enjoy every minute!

  9. Excellent idea to have someone keep up a blog for you and LOVE your new "missionary" photos!

Enjoy this experience, it will go by faster than you think. Have you seen "The Errand of Angels" yet, about the sister missionary? I am not always a fan of popular mormon film, but that one actually touched me. If you haven't seen it, it might be fun to before you go.

So, my advice... Keep a journal everyday!! I was so glad I did on my mission, it's an experience like no other and will be full of great memories always! Never forget who's errand you are on, His road was not always easy, nor will yours be, but when it gets tough, remembering Him will get you through the tough moments!

I still remember your excellent poem about "Choice and Accountability" you wrote and read at the one New Beginnings I was in charge of in Pickerington Ward. I was so impressed by the genuineness of your spirit. It will be one of your greatest assets as you serve.

Your inner beauty will touch many and make your outer beauty shine all the more! Sending you a hug and best wishes! Good choice!!! :-)

    Love,

    Sister Prows

  11. You will be fabulous! To quote Pres. Hinckley's dad remember to "forget yourself and go to work!" or something similar. You have had so much success here I hope that success follows you there!
